Halloween Happenings

Check out all of the Halloween events around NEPA this year!

Saturday, October 24th:

  • Duryea American Legion Post 585 in Pittston will hold a Halloween Fun Night October 24th from 4 – 8pm. The kitchen will be selling hotdogs, burgers, pizza and more, and all kids under 12 who arrive in costume will receive a free hot dog and goodie bag!
  • The Moosic Alliance Community Church will have a Classic Car Trunk or Treat October 24th from 2-4pm.
  • A trunk or treat will be held at Reaper’s Revenge from 1:30-pm October 24th. The event includes giveaways, live music, contests and more! Space is limited due to CDC safety guidelines.
  • The Greater Scranton YMCA in Dunmore will have a trunk or treat drive-thru October 24th from 1-3pm. Families will drive thru our parking lot to view our participants decked-out trunks!
  • Haunt on the Hill drive-thru Trick or Treat hosted by: The Downtown Pittston Partnership, City of Pittston, Greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce and Pittston Area School District. on Saturday, October 24th from 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m at the Pittson Area High School.

Sunday, October 25th:

  • The Dallas Kiwanis Club is holding a Halloween Parade Sunday, October 25th inside the Dallas Middle School track at noon. The parade will include social distancing and mask wearing per CDC guidelines. You MUST Pre-Register for the event at KiwanisClubDallasPA.com. There will be prizes for best costumes, along with basket raffles, door prizes, 50/50s and more! Rain date is October 31st.
  • Dickson City Hyundai will have a trunk or treat October 25th from 2-4pm. It will be a drive-thru event per CDC guidelines, but costumes are a must!

Thursday, October 29th:

  • The Osterhout Free Library – North Branch will have a Halloween Sidewalk Celebration Thursday, October 29th from 3-5pm. Enjoy treats, crafts and a free book!

Friday, October 30th:

  • A Halloween Trunk-or-Treat Car Show will take Place Friday, October 30th at 1874 N. Township Blvd. in Pittston. The event starts at 6pm.
  • A Trunk or Treat will be held at the East Scranton Little League on Friday, October 30th from 6-8pm.
  • A Halloween Trunk or Treat will take place at the St. Joseph Marello parking lot on William Street in Pittston October 30th from 6 – 9pm. The event is free and includes safety protocols.

Saturday, October 31st:

  • The Old Forge Fire Department will be hosting a Trunk or Treat in the parking lot of the Eagle McClure Hose Company on Milwaukee Ave from 11am-2pm on Halloween. This is a free event open to the community. Treaters will be provided a trick or treat bag upon arrival.
  • A trick or Treat on West Scranton’s Main street will be held from 3-6pm on Halloween. Dress in costume and travel from the 400 Block Mfrom South to North Main Ave and Allen Park.
  • First Presbyterian Church in Clarks Summit will host a Trunk or Treat on Halloween from 2 – 3:30pm.
  • The Front Porch Bake Shop in Forty-Fort will host a Community Halloween Party from 10am – noon on Halloween. Masks and social distancing are required. Enjoy treats, plus balloon and glitter tattoo artists!
  • Enjoy a Trunk or Treat at the Pringle Fire House Halloween night from 5 – 8pm!
  • Kids 14 & under TRICK OR TREAT (in costume) at Chacko’s in Wilkes-Barre between 4-9pm on Halloween to receive a FREE GAME & SHOE RENTAL pass to be used at a later date!
  • Laurel Run Recreation will have a Trunk Or Treat from noon-2pm on Halloween at the Laurel Run Borough Fire House.
  • Keystone RampWorks will host a Trick-or-Treat Event on Halloween from 4 – 7:30pm in the Wyoming Valley Sports Dome. The event will have social distancing and mask-wearing and work in groups of 50 at a time. Choose from 5 time slots. The event is free, just register for a time slot through the Keystone Rampworks Facebook Page.
  • Curry Donuts on South Pennsylvania Ave in Wilkes-Barre is holding a trunk or treat on Halloween from 4-6pm. In addition to handing out candy, there will also be a show featuring various local bands. Masks and social distancing mandatory.
