On air 3p-8p Saturday & Sunday!

I’m from Orwigsburg, PA in Schuylkill County. My radio career started when I was 15 years old working for the Pottsville Broadcasting Company calling high school football, basketball and baseball games. I worked at several different radio stations in the Northeast during my college years. I’m a 1997 graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

After Syracuse, I put my radio career on hold and went into television sportscasting. My career has taken me all over the country working at television stations in Mississippi, Tennessee, Virginia and Pennsylvania. I covered three Super Bowls, three World Series, three US Open Golf Championships, Daytona 500, Rose Bowl, and MLB All-Star games, just to name a few.

In 2003, I returned to my hometown television market and as Sports Director, led the WBRE Eyewitness Sports team to seven consecutive PAB Excellence in Broadcasting Awards for outstanding television coverage of a local sporting event.

In 2013, I was inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame — the Allen-Rogowicz Chapter.

After almost 25 years as a professional broadcaster, I have shifted my career into education and I’m currently teaching Audio Video Communications at the Wilkes-Barre Area Career and Tech Center.

Besides working for Magic 93, I am part of the SportsFever TV Network which is a syndicator of NCAA college sports for ESPN3. I’m a  play-by-play sportscaster for the college football and basketball games on the network.

I live in West Pittston with my wife Chrissy and my two sons Jake and Nate.
